Ingrid Tennessee is CEO of Quo Vadis Trust (QVT), a housing association and charity that specialises in delivering supported accommodation to Clients suffering varying levels of mental ill health. QVT provides 130 Clients with Supported Housing and Care in the London Boroughs of Lewisham & Croydon, offering tenancy sustainment and recovery services. Since becoming CEO in October 2016, Ingrid has provided QVT with the strategic aim; “Supporting Recovery, Maximising Independence & Building Community”. This underpins Ingrid’s personal commitment to respect for Diversity, which flows within QVT as an established value and also impacts positively on QVT’s partnership working. Ingrid’s drive on QVT’s equality agenda has promoted cultural and ethnic diversity amongst staffing and their Client base. Ingrid initiated QVT’s Volunteer & Student Placement programme, which has been successfully providing enhanced services to Clients and the Community for 18 months. In addition, Ingrid continues to forge strong relationships with organisations such as Voluntary Action Lewisham, local Universities, MIND and Probation Services.
